Built-in I/O

The device has a built-in (internal) 8-channel input/output module AL-IO-A.15i.

4 dedicated channels AI(DI), working as:
- Voltage analog inputs: nominal ranges 0-10V, 0-24V
- digital inputs (realized as voltage measurement; this allows to set the threshold and hysteresis): nominal ranges 0-24V
and 4 dedicated channels DO:
- digital outputs: OC (active low) 100mA
Identical types and parameters of channels are also available through system configuration based on external modules built from the set: CPU model AL-CPU-M.1-0.00i connected to the I/O module model AL-IO-A.15 (8 channels) or model AL-IO-A.35 (12 channels).

Interface

2 x Modbus RTU (RS-485 isolated and non-isolated), Ethernet, local user interface (OLED display, buttons), USB OTG (communication with AL Utility™; USB memory support), microSD.

Modularity/expandability of the system

The device with additional modules is mounted on a DIN rail. Easy assembly and expansion of the system is facilitated by the built-in latches (apply-and-press type), without the need for additional brackets or adapters. The AL-CPU unit allows you to connect and power up to 10 AL-IO modules (in total up to 128 measuring inputs and control outputs) through special system connectors mounted in the DIN rail recess (no wiring required). These connectors simultaneously form the communication and power bus for the Ambity Line™ system.
