Flexible integration and expansion of PLC systems
PLC expansion modules – Modbus RTU (RS-485) communication, support for multiple signal types and configurable channels. Easy installation, quick integration, and flexible expansion.
Ambity Line is a series of devices designed to operate with PLC. It is compatible with standard systems and devices communicating via the RS-485 interface and the Modbus RTU protocol.
The devices offer configurable channels, enabling precise adjustment of functionality to the requirements of a specific application, while the modular design makes future system expansion straightforward.
Supported signals
The Ambity Line series consists of versatile modules that support a wide range of analogue, digital and temperature signals, providing flexibility and suitability for many applications. The Ambity Line series supports a wide range of analogue, digital, and temperature signals, providing adaptability and flexibility across a broad range of applications.

Configurable channels and universal configurations
When designing the Ambity Line series, we focused on three key aspects: performance, functionality and ease of deployment.
Each module has been designed with optimal selection of input/output types and quantities in mind. The configurability of individual channels allows you to flexibly adapt the set to the specific requirements of a given application. Examples of universal configurations, created for handling many signal types and enabling them to be tailored to diverse and changing needs, include models AL-IO-B.11 and AL-IO-C.31.
AL-IO-B.11
- 4 analogue/digital inputs (each configurable as current, voltage or digital)
- 2 analogue outputs (each configurable as current or voltage)
- 2 digital outputs
- Input ranges: 0–20 mA, 0–10 V, 0–24 V
- Output ranges: 0–20 mA, 0–10 V and OC 100 mA
AL-IO-C.31
- 6 RTD temperature inputs (each configurable)
- 2 analogue outputs (each configurable as current or voltage)
- 4 digital outputs

Ambity Line™ Config Tool
Configuration software for the modules
The modules are configured via Modbus registers. You can use any program for configuration or our Ambity Line Config Tool.
The software allows you to set Modbus communication parameters, configure the operating mode of each channel and its parameters, generating integration files for selected PLC environments and update the firmware.
Learn MoreAll models in the Ambity Line series are built on a common hardware platform, which allows us to optimise production and offer versatile, robust devices at competitive prices.
Easy installation and module interconnection
Ambity Line modules are interconnected by a simple system communication bus connector
(communication and power bus).
Just plug them one after another onto the DIN rail – no additional wiring is needed. Using the connector, the module is mounted on the DIN rail, linked with subsequent modules into sets and connected to the bus.
