Ambity Line Config Tool

Configuration software for the modules

Ambity Line input/output (I/O) modules are configured via Modbus registers. You can use any program for configuration or our Ambity Line Config Tool.

Configuring Ambity Line modules

The Ambity Line Config Tool allows you to quickly set Modbus transmission parameters, configure channels, monitor values, generate integration files, and update device firmware.

Download and run Config Tool

Version 2.1.1

Note: If the operating system or antivirus software displays warnings when launching, choose “Run anyway” – the application is safe.

Connect the module to the computer

Connect the module using an RS-485/USB converter via the communication bus connector and the pluggable terminal block.

Details regarding module connection and getting started with the Config Tool are provided in the
User Manual.

Simulation mode – configuration and testing of modules without connection

Ambity Line Config Tool offers a simulation mode, which enables:

  • selection of any Ambity Line series I/O module without the need for physical hardware,
  • review of signal types and ranges supported by individual channels,
  • configuration and testing of available settings for all channels.

Simulation mode is a practical tool for learning how to operate the modules, preparing configuration before deployment or getting familiar with module functionality before purchase.
